婚禮的點點滴滴 - 敬茶Tea Ceremony篇

On our wedding day, we did the tea ceremony. It is a Chinese Tradition to express thanks to the relatives on the wedding day. We had to kneel in front of our parents (and elders) and serve them tea to say "thank you" for bringing us up. We got red pockets as good luck and new gold jeweleries in return. We also gave tea to younger cousins and brother, but we could stand up for that. (Thanks June for being our "dai kum" - the person to help hand the tea and teacups and say special greetings.)

You're welcome. I think I was more nervous than everybody else!
