Diet

Two months ago, I said I wanted to lose weight (tummy and arms).
Last month, I said I would start my diet "today". (I controlled what I ate for 2 days.)
Two weeks ago, I said I would start my diet "tomorrow".
Last week, I said I would start my diet the month before my wedding.
Tonight, I decided, I won't go on my diet. 我決定不減肥了!

My reason:
人人都說要結婚留倩影, 但十年後看回自己的婚照, 可能化妝衣着已經不合時, 這樣到時都不會覺得太靓, 肥少少又有甚麼關係. 十年後可能變了肥師奶(希望不會吧!), 如果現在結婚瘦身成功, 到時必定想: "嘩! 肥了這麼多!". 所以都是不要太瘦了, 希望十年後別人看到我的結婚相會想: "哦. 那時候跟現在的你都是差不多." :D 不減肥的益處實在太多. 都是繼續吃!吃!吃! 的好.

Ten years from now when I will look back at our wedding photos, my wedding make-up and hair style will be dated. Since it won't look good anyway, there is no harm for a little extra tummy or flappy arms. If I lose weight now, I will probably regain it back. If I am already out of shape for my wedding, then people will just think I look relatively similar. :D So - No more diet for me! Yay!

P.S. I know these are all excuses. But at least it makes me feel better...

The Hardworking Wedding Bees

一個星期的Reading week 又完了. 我們做了很多很多, 睡得很少很少. 最近很多人問我我們怎能兼顧到這麼多 - work, families, school, wedding. Let us share with you our secret formula:

Tuxes

The boys got their tuxes! 因為我們只需要租一套給best man, 所以我們沒有四處隔價(一套省不了太多錢), 只選了間地點方便的 -- First Markham Place的Moore's.

參加其他人的婚禮, 大部分時間我都不會太留意男孩子的服裝. 所以被問及要甚麼style, 要甚麼顏色, 真的一頭霧水. 我們三個人(Ka, me, and Ray)坐在Moores's的sales guy前你眼望我眼, 大家都"I don't know.. What do you think?", "It's up to you~~" 真好笑.

最後只好靠sales 哥哥姐姐來幫我們作主意(They looked pretty well dressed. So I trust their fashion sense). 其實好彩Raymond不是那些"yim yim jim jim"的男孩子! (At least not on picking a tux. That makes our job so much easier.)

Fitting for 伴娘裙

星期六跟Vikki去為她的伴娘裙試身. 其實也不需要怎樣改, 因為已經很合身. 條裙真的很適合Vikki. 她穿得很漂亮很漂亮. 越看越喜歡! (Vikki, 據我看, 你應該還可以肥一吋, 所以你在香港還可以盡情地吃!)

伴娘裙子是跟顏妝 (Faces Bridal)買的 (婚紗也是跟他們租). 幫我們的Connie超級好人. 她一直像幫自己朋友般去幫我們. 懂得找合我們心水合我們身型的裙子. 讓我們試完一條又一條. 很有心機地為我們講解what works and what doesn't. 裙子也是她親手改的. 每次見到Connie她都佈滿笑容歡迎我們, 令我們每一次visit都開開心心!

Have you RSVP'ed?

We have finally managed to give out all our wedding invitations. We chose to hand deliver as many invitations as possible. That required more effort but it is nice to meet up with friends (These days, people are always busy and it's a lot harder to see each other.)

Since we started delivering our invitations, we watch for new comments in our online guest book and RSVP replies every night. Ka and I are always excited to see new replies.

The next step: Collect RSVPs. Because we will have to give the head count to the restaurant really soon! So~~~ if you haven't replied yet (*ahem*)... you know what you should do. :)

和"鞋"共處

Our Shoes. 想着想着, 我們婚禮的鞋竟然沒有一對是在加拿大買的! 有來自香港的, 有來自美國的. 真謝謝Keith and Jason两個大男孩幫我拿我的女生鞋子過境.

I have never owned so many shoes in my life before! 一對穿褂着, 一對穿婚紗着, 一對待最後晚裝着. 真係好巴閉好巴閉!

久侯了的Centerpieces

我們久侯了的Centerpieces終於面世了! 原本我是很想一手一腳自己組合每一個centerpiece, 但發覺實在太需時, 不請槍不可.

星期五我們一眾人埋頭苦幹. 我的老友鬼鬼Helpers Team有 公司有production problem, 拿着電腦到我家也要OT的Vikki, 星期四才脫wisdom teeth的Andrew, 上了一個星期班的Peggy and Edmund, 加上我和星期五還在發燒的Ka. 我們坐在地上, 有型有格地拿着hot glue gun跟絲帶戰鬥到凌晨四時! 三十三個Centerpieces就此誕生!

給間中被hot glue gun熱親, 坐到腰酸骨痛的戰友們: 謝謝!
